She received the award at a ceremony in early Spring 2005 in Europe. She was especially honored by the nomination since it is one that the board in England decides on their own after reviewing a musician’s work and visiting ‘live’ performances, rather than a competition in which the musicians vie. Ms. Serra-Brooks will also be published by the International Biographical Center, and her recording, reviews and biography are placed in the Museum of International Musicians in London, England. In 2000 she was elected as one of Most Notable Women In America (Millennium award), and also received the California Maguire Award for Music.
