Judson, Alexander, Grant, and Chloe represented our studio at the WSMTA Honor Recital Competition a Sunday in early March. All played the best I had heard them! Our two judges were Margee Webster and Dr. Renato Fabbro.
Results:
Chloe (Debussy Toccata from Pour le Piano)- WINNER! She will perform at the State Convention in Sun Mountain Lodge (Winthrop) in June. CONGRATULATIONS!
Alexander (Laser Light Show)- 2nd Alternate! GOOD JOB - to all of our young pianists!
Judson and Alexander gave great performances of Claude Debussy’s Prelude “Girl with the Flaxen Hair” and Jennifer Bowman’s “Laser Light Show”!
It was an honor to have the composer of Alexander’s piece, Jennifer Bowman, in the audience. She loved his performance, as did the whole audience!
